so actually...the contact i have for Young does appear to be active on whatsapp again (noticed this sometime earlier this year while doing a search) and i cooould probably resuscitate that if i tried (even though i had outright cut it off without explanation...)

but i’m more idk, mature now, i guess, and i know there was a good reason i did that. at the same time, by virtue of said maturity, there is a chance i’d be less susceptible to the same messiness now (it remains a vulnerable spot though, the sort that seems wont to kick rational thought out the window). it isn’t exactly objectively valuable or even advisable
