Do it scared is a great sentiment and all, but not all experiences you'll walk away from feel exciting, or thrilling. Sometimes, doing things scared is just scary and unenjoyable.
Do things when there's excitement or curiosity, more than fear of the experience itself. Do things because you want to, to have a go, experience new things, leave your comfort zone.
I can guarantee you, entering something scared will negatively impact your experience but doing something with curiosity will never take from your experience.
