People calling rivalries (like Lando and Oscar) brocedes pissed me off. Like, it feels like even the smallest of things between teammates/rivals is compared to them. And it is stupid to me. These two had gone to the point they could NOT stomach looking at each other. Nico would literally only talk in German so people would have to translate to Lewis if they were having a conversation. A friendship as long as a lifetime ruined for a title. There won't be another "brocedes", and I actually hope there won't be. Because seeing that shit was heart breaking, and even media to this day about it is just as heart breaking.
Sure, you can do it as a "haha" joke, that's a you thing, but I really feel like it's taking out of how different and more serious it actually was. The whole plot of it is lost to a point of no return. It's been almost 10+ years and these two haven't fixed their issues. Comparing them to ANYONE is like an atomic bomb vs a coughing infant. It's like comparing two doomed lovers that got married and divorced three times, unable to get over each other every time to the point one can't stomach the other's name while the other can't stop talking about them; to a married couple fighting over movie night just to make out later.
Maybe this is just me being woke but I still feel like we're forgetting what it actually was and slapping it on anything we find "fitting"
