RYAN: Well, looks like you’re flying solo. I know I say it everytime, but I feel the need to say it again for this one: don’t fuck this up. 

OZANA: You got it, boss. What’s my assignment? RYAN: I’m gonna be handling some stuff in SanMy today, but I heard from my brother that our mom is in town. 

OZANA: Aww, sweet. Should I like, get you guys a dinner rezzie or? 

RYAN: Fuck no. Your assignment is to make sure she’s never within a four block radius of me. 

OZANA: Wait, really? That’s a bummer. Why don’t you wanna– 

RYAN: No questions. I’m sending you my schedule and a list of places my brother said she goes to in the city. You’re going to find her and redirect her if she’s getting too close to me. Take the car and head out ASAP. 

OZANA: But what if— 

RYAN: I said no questions. Get it done.

OZANA: Damn, the devil really does wear Prada. 

WREN: That’s Sentate, not Prada.

OZANA: Huh?

WREN: Forget it.  

WREN: I need to know how you’re planning on failing upwards again on this one. OZANA: I dunno…Wren, you’re smart. What would you do?  WREN: Yeah, I don’t believe in being helpful without an incentive. OZANA: I mean…he’s got an Asian mom, I’ve got an Asian mom. Maybe there's like, a lesson here? About like, reconciliation? Or generational…something something? WREN: Pretty sure she’s PI not AA, but I don’t know how much that changes your hypothesis. OZANA: Whatever. My point is, doing not exactly what we’re told was kind of how Khia and me skated by, so maybe it’ll work out again? Right? WREN: I’m guessing Khia was the brains between you two, huh.
