I’m okay with the overall fuel limit but I’m not sure I like the flow rate limit. Because it limits strategy options. All I can think of is how fast they could push it at the end, by saving fuel under the safety car.
Am I out of my mind or did Will Buxton just imply Kimi might stay at Lotus if they replace Grosjean with Maldonado? Apparently cause that way the budget required to be near the top constructors would be nearly insured.
NBCSN: stop screwing with F1 Fans
Pretty furious with NBC for moving live coverage of the British Grand Prix to CNBC (because that's a channel you'd expect it on) so they could air the Tour de Steroids on NBCSN. DirecTV's auto-record feature didn't register the change so I had to wait for the replay later in the day on NBCSN, and of course you don't get F1 Non-Stop during the commercial breaks on the replay broadcasts. This crap continues next week with the German Grand Prix, so I've had to manually set up my recording to ensure I get the live broadcast. DirecTV needs to get their auto-record/guide flags working properly, but the main fail is with NBC, it's exactly the kind of crap I expected from them after they won the broadcast rights from Speed Channel. Unfortunately this same network now as the rights to English Premier League football, and while they claim they will be airing ever game (live?), I fully expect them to shuffle games around at the last minute causing fans all sorts of unnecessary grief.
