F1 75th anniversary celebrates with Lego Trophies to the World's Top Drivers at Silverstone Race
Happy 75th anniversary F1! F1 stands for Formula One.
The first ever F1 race was in 1950, 75 years ago, at Silverstone track in Britain in 1950 on May 13, according the the F1.com website. The winner of that race was Italian race car driver Giuseppe Farina. If you aren't familiar, F1 is a racing series with cars that are low to the ground that go really fast. To be a part of the F1 as a driver means you are the best of the best. The engineering, mechanics, aerodynamics, teamwork, competition and driver strategy results in an honor for the top three drivers in each race as well as an honor to be in the game no matter your position.
The top three drivers at this 75th anniversary race at Silverstone on July 6, 2025 were awarded trophies made completely of Legos. Yes, the Legos that are building blocks to a child's imagination. Now, that’s how you celebrate! Did you know Lego also has models of the teams cars, and mini mystery cars? May the celebrations continue.
Engineering and science and Legos got gather. Engineers crafted These drivers are the opt of theism acting like children.
F1 The Movie is another celebration of motorsport with Brad Pitt. He got to race in a real race car on the track. Any organization dreams to have a feature film about its origins.
These Kalani High School robotics students from Team Magma had the chance to enjoy a mini mystery F1 Lego car and the movie. KITV shared their enthusiasm for the engineering and competition.
Ward Consolidated Theatres held a local premiere of the film “F1: The Movie” on Friday night followed by an after party at Dave & Buster
If you know any fans of F1, let's connect.
I just watched F1 The Movie (2025), my rating is: ★★★★★★★☆☆☆
F1 The Movie (2025)
Format: Dolby (Suggested) Pros: Summer blockbuster movie that will be enjoyable to watch with family and friends. Great cast. Great scenery of the tracks/venues. As someone who has never watched a F1 race, I enjoyed it. Cons: I didn't feel my heart race as much as I wanted to. Especially in the format, POVs, and visualization that it gave. This movie felt like it lacked a little intensity. Favorite Quote:
"Plan C... is for Combat"
