Dizzy’s mind was screaming at her as she shut the door to her room and made her way towards the Submissive Wing. The judgment she felt towards herself was very harsh and very real. What the hell is going on? You just initiated contact with your ex for the first time in weeks, asking if he’s okay, but do you care? No, because you’re skipping off to Ashton’s room the minute he suggests you get him out of his pants. Good job, Dizzy.
It didn’t stop her, however, she made no attempt to stop walking towards her destination, eager to get something out of this meeting. God, she hoped Darren wouldn’t be hanging around their room, and if he was, he’d take a hint and make himself scarce.
Truth be told, she really liked Ashton, and while her inner voice was judging her for moving on, she knew, rationally, it was okay. She was allowed to spend time with other people, right? It wasn’t as though she felt this guilty after sleeping with Mike, but that was also likely due to the fact that there were no romantic feelings involved in that. Whatever she was about to do with Ashton -- well, this would be very different.
She took a deep breath as she stepped in front of his door, knocking on it three times. Crap. She was nervous. She could feel her heart racing. This was stupid, why was she nervous?
He caught her off guard when the door opened; feeling stupid, because who else was she expecting exactly, besides him? She was at a loss for words. So instead, Dizzy gave him an involuntary smile that seemed to occur naturally when she saw his face. “...Hi.”
