F2F: Always Late When It Matters
Jaye groaned as he noticed the time on his phone, a string of curses following shortly after. He had told Mack he would be around at her place at noon and it was already almost two. He knew she was going to be pissed off (although lately that seemed to be the only thing she ever was, at least towards him). It was like this sick game of “Red Rover” they played-- one would come around and the other would try their hardest to knock them down. Sure, it was unhealthy and even thought they both knew that, it didn't stop them from always repeating the course of events that led up to it.
Tugging on black skinny jeans on his way out of his room, he stubbed his toe on the edge of the door, a loud “FUCK!” leaving his lips as he sat on the chair to nurse his toe for a moment. Once the throbbing had stopped, he reached for his boots, shoving his feet into them before lacing them up. Not bothering to even attempt to fix his hair, he ran a hand through his blonde and black jagged locks before he was out the door, his jacket in hand. It didn't take him long to get to Mack's, although it was almost two-thirty by the time he actually got there. He sighed, preparing himself for the worst as he knocked on the door, a yawn escaping his lips.
