Panic | Cabin 6
There was a lot going on and none of it was helping Jae keep a sound mind. The storm and lock down was bad enough, but Frankie’s seizure followed by Remy’s freak out after it only heightened his sensitivity. And not being able to call his mom or text his brother was the tipping point. It started in his chest, a discomfort that tightened around his heart. There was a shortness of breath and the fear that he was going to suffocate. He knew what this was, so he pushed through lightheaded feeling and kept it together as much as he could to get to an unoccupied corner of the room, crouching down and leaning into the wall. It was then that the tears started as his body shook and his hand clutched at his chest. Jae tried to keep quiet, but his gasps for air only intensified the stronger the panic attack got. He couldn’t think, he couldn’t breath, and he couldn’t stop. He just wanted it to stop.
