Despite his earlier statements about wanting to be alone, Finn had quickly changed his mind once the pain in his wrist and hand had become too much for him to bare. He had first called Ryder to come over, not only to give him an assessment on if he thought it was broken but because he wanted him around. He didn't know why he'd snapped the way he had at River but he knew he could always count on Ryder to come through for him no questions asked. It was late and Ryder had suggested he call a doctor to come and check out his hand just as a second opinion. Finn could deduce it was most likely broken but he just had to be sure. So after calling Alec and asking him to come over, Finn grabbed a few beers from the fridge and waited for his friend to arrive. Ryder had wrapped his hand and wrist as best he could so now it was up to Alec to determine if he needed a trip to the ER or not.
