[Lizzie watched as her two birthday boys had a little father-son time. Her heart was so full on this day and she could hardly of how to give thanks to whoever had blessed her with the best gifts of life she could ever have. She smiled at Puck as he voiced his disbelief that their son was already a year old.] I know huh? I should be bawling at how big he’s gotten and how smart he is, but look at me now? Sucking it all in and letting my Handsomes have their day to celebrate - tear free. [Lizzie giggled as she was pulled flush against her husband. Her hands went to his collar and played with it as she accepted his kiss.] You’re welcome, honey. Did he? Well we can always have a preview later tonight, if you’d like. I’d like to know just how much you’ve missed me. No, he doesn’t. Just wait until the terrible two’s… you’re in for it buddy. I might have to get you a card next year that says see you in sixteen years. [Lizzie stuck her tongue out at her husband before giggling.] Happy birthday, Handome! I’m glad you like everything. You know it’s a special day for me too, so I had to make it very special for you. Don’t fill up on the Iron Man cake. [She said as she tapped the tip of his nose.]
[Puck smiled. but shook his head and looked at Riley. ] We don’t like Mommy tears do we? [Riley mimicked his head shake with one of his own.] See, we dont like the tears. It’s okay our little man is one. Next year this time he’ll be holding full conversations with us, right Riles? [Riley just looked at his father without a single clue what was happening.He kissed him on the top of his head and let him play with all his new toys. His attention then went to his wife.] I like the sound of that preview. I’ve missed you a lot baby. [He kissed her softly and out of the corner of his eye he saw Riley lift a stuffed animal and throw it at him. It hit him in the leg with a soft thud.] Someone’s not a fan of our kissing right now. [He laughed.] Oh no, Terrible twos he’ll be able to hold a conversation, and too. I’m not ready for Little Noah Jr, to say stuff back. Because I see so much of my bad a-s-s in Riley. I mean I see some you too as he throws stuffed animals at me. [He chuckled] That’s that thugnificent coming out. I love everything. It’s a big day for all of us. Our son is one today and we’ve been doing this parenting thing for a year. I think we’re doing a good job. Don’t you? [He kissed her nose and another stuffed animal went flying.] Little boy, you’re going to run out of things to throw in a minute. Don’t worry baby, I’m not going to fill up on Iron Man cake when I’m getting your cake later tonight. [Her smirked.]
