Brittany had really been looking forward to celebrating New Year’s Eve with everyone, and had had a great time most of the evening. She was all dressed up to party, and though she might’ve been a tiny bit overdressed for Grayson’s Game Night Extravaganza, she fit right in with all of the glitter decorations at Town Hall’s New Year’s Eve Bash where she currently was. She had been rocking it out on the dancefloor, drinking fruity punch and fun drinks and chatting with friends and familiars, before she got into a conversation with this one guy she used to go to school with. He was both one, super drunk and two, super rude. Brittany told him off, but their conversation still got her in a really sad mood. After the talk she went outside for some fresh air. She stood with her drink, taking a sip and sniffling a little, before hearing someone behind her.

Finn hadn't expected Marley to want to come over for some grilled cheese sandwiches. But the girl kept surprising him, and he meant that in a good way. He was glad he and Marley could hang out and be friends off work. As far as he could tell, all tv shows liked to claim that they were all one big happy family. The skeptics would say, that's not true at all, they probably all hate each other. And the optimists would believe that they were like a big family. He had experienced that the truth was both. He had been on sets where it felt like one happy family, he had been on sets where the tension had been gruesome. He imagined it was like any other workplace or school setting. It varied, from place to place. Everyone who worked on a set were people, just like anybody else.

He had dressed himself, pretty casually. A pair of jeans and a black v-neck, and he would be lying if he wasn't a little giddy about hanging out with Marley. Something about her was very calming. She was cool, he liked her, and hanging out with her felt very safe. Which wasn't always a guarantee in his life. He had struggled with some major insecurities, that started in high school. And getting into being an actor, didn't help that. He felt a little more confident, but sometimes he could doubt himself a lot. He shook the negative thoughts of his mind as he heard a knock on his apartment door. He went to open and was treated to the lovely sight of the brunette he awaited. “Good evening, step inside.” he said with a smile.

Sam couldn’t deny Kurt was the housemate he spent less time with. It wasn’t for caring less. He and Finn just seemed to have a lot more in common, though the new knowledge of his love for comic book movies opened up a whole new opportunity for them. Nevertheless, after three days missing school, Sam knew it was time to do something. He stopped by the Lima Bean and picked up the other boy’s favorite coffee (he might have asked around the glee club to figure out the answer) and picked up a couple of magazines at the gas station. Kurt would like those stuck at home, he figured. Once back home, he trudged upstairs, poked his head in Kurt’s room, but found no one. He frowned for a moment, then got a light bulb. The attic! Another few stairs and he was there. “I figured three days sick, you could use some pick me ups,” Sam said in greeting, gesturing to the things he’d brought. “How you feeling?”

Keegan sighed, struggling to gather up the dozens of pieces of hand-written sheet music that were sprawled across the pavement in front of the Grind. Between getting nicked on the face during fencing practice that morning, forgetting his University ID for the second time in one week, and his backpack catching on the coffee shop door and ripping open just a moment ago, it was safe to say this was the worst day Keegan had had in quite some time.

A pair of feet approached Keeg and he gave a curt, "S-Sorry. I’ll have it up in a minute,” too stressed to look up to see who it was.

“god, i’m so nervous..” dani murmured as her right hand gripped the microphone tightly. she stood beside her manager, her breath shaky as nerves radiated through the petite body. every night, the singer became overwhelmed with anxiety, her dark eyes peering at the lift as it slowly lowered down. crouching down, she kneeled on it, hearing the crowd cheer excitedly. ever since dani embarked on the world tour, her fans took a liking to the new choreography and seeing a different side of dani as a performer. as the melody to “you don’t do it for me anymore” echoed, dani slowly got up. before she knew it, the brunette was performing a full set with costume changes. her hues always wandered for santana, a smirk on her lips when dani decided to dance sexily as she finished her first set of songs to open the show.

Hunter and Sebastian sleeping together, and just sleeping, with a possibility of also cuddling, was not at all something that was new to their relationship. It started when they were incredibly young and didn’t even know what they were doing was odd, though it was mostly likely less odd when they were five, rather than when they were in their 20’s. He vaguely remembered their parents not caring for it, especially Hunter’s, but that didn’t stop them. It wasn’t like either one of them had trouble sleeping, but having your best friend next to you when you’re about to fall asleep gave Hunter an incredibly warm and safe feeling. They only ever really did it when one of them had a bad day and wanted that comfort, and today was definitely one of those days for Hunter.

While he should have seen his breakup with Nate coming, it was still a shook to him and he wasn’t going to lie and say he wasn’t upset by it. They dated for over a year, and besides that last month, they spent at least a few days a week together, even before they started dating. Nate was a big part of Hunter’s life and now he was ripped out of it with close to no chance of him ever being in it again. He wasn’t in love with Nate, but he did love his company and always enjoyed his time with him and it was going to be hard to accept the fact that it was over.

Luckily, he had a best friend who knew exactly what to do and say to help Hunter get through this difficult moment of his life. Sebastian was so incredibly considerate of him and his feelings, even when Hunter didn’t want to admit he had any feelings to begin with. Sebastian could always see right through him.

Once he said his goodbye to Parker, who was actually sort of growing on Hunter, if he ignored the fact that Parker did drugs for the fun of it, he went into his bedroom to change into sweatpants and a tank top. Normally he didn’t wear a shirt to bed, but he knew it would be crossing a line to be shirtless while in bed with Sebastian. He shook his head slightly in amusement as he saw from the corner of his eye, Parker pull Sebastian into the hallway outside their apartment, no doubt to make out with him or give him a blowjob. He wouldn’t put the latter past either one of them.

“Did you enjoy yourself?” Hunter asked with a small smirk his eyebrows raised when Sebastian came back into the apartment with his hair clearly messed up. He watched Abe lift his head up from the couch to look at Sebastian before going back to sleep; even Abe wasn’t surprised by the view.

Hunter had yet to text Sebastian, but that was expected. As much as Sebastian would have enjoyed a text asking for help with French or accidentally sending a nude, he knew Hunter would be hesitant to message the hot guy who’d asked for his number after flirting with him at a party. Sebastian wouldn’t be surprised to hear that Hunter’s ball and chain had forced him to delete it as soon as he found out. If he’d found out. Maybe they were one of those couples who told each other everything, but Sebastian liked to think that Hunter was his own person. Still, Sebastian was over not moving forward with Hunter after a week of not talking. As much as he wanted Hunter, he wasn’t desperate enough to text him right away. Even during class, he’d only given Hunter a small nod of acknowledgement as he got to class then left without a goodbye when they were dismissed. He wanted Hunter, but not enough to let the other man think that he had any power here. Just because Sebastian wanted something that Hunter believed he couldn’t have, didn’t mean that he got to call the shots. Normally Sebastian wasn’t the type to get excited for a test, but when the professor mentioned that they’d have their first one coming up, Sebastian couldn’t help but smirk to himself. Of course Hunter could turn down his offer for them to study together, but Sebastian had a habit of making it impossible to say no to him. He took his time packing up his bag, letting Hunter get a small headstart before he slid his bag over his shoulder and followed him out of the classroom, not needing to work too hard to catch up with him. “Clarington,” he greeted as he rested a hand on his shoulder, only briefly because he was still figuring out how Hunter felt about being touched. He even behaved well enough to not slide his hand down Hunter’s back as he lowered it. “How’ve you been?”

While most of the video for “Turn the Lights Down Low”, Divine Influence’s next single, was ready to go, they needed some sultry bedroom shots and clips of Rachel and the featured artist, Norah. What better place to do that than in a hotel? So instead of sleeping in on a free day, Norah was up getting her hair makeup done by a professional and shoving herself into a sexy outfit along with Rachel...who looked particularly good like that. And while Norah had hooked up with a couple of fans and Quinn (and, yes, she knew she promised they wouldn’t, but...come on) on the tour so far, she had been trying her best to be good.
