what are the crush options' type romance-wise (like appearance and personality)? and will we get to choose mc and twin's type as well?

I was originally going to reply with how I calculate MC's chemistry score with each crush option, but it was getting too long/complicated, so for now I wrote a condensed summary. I'll share that post instead once I'm finished with the update.

I want to make it clear that it's NOT necessary for MC to meet the crush options' preferences, whether it's gender, appearance, or personality. The game will have at least 6 volumes, so there's plenty of time to build up your chemistry score with each of them even if you have the opposite of their preferred traits or started with a low relationship.

If you ask him, Wayne would make up a poem about "How there's something beautiful about every girl", but if he had to choose, he prefers tall girls with very long and colorful wavy/curly hair. Wayne wouldn't go after boys, but he wouldn't reject them either. He'd return the favor if a boy told him he's cute or handsome.

But really, he just wants someone who's funny, likes spending time with him on his many hobbies (singing/dancing/baking/drawing/taking care of birds), and willing to go on fun adventures (or dates) with him around the world.

Wayne's preferred personality stats in-game are Silly and Headstrong, and his favorite genres are High Fantasy and Adventure (plus Fairytales, courtesy of Roselyna). It also helps if MC is romantic (or have halfling/dwarf/draconic/amphibious fae ancestry), but if there's one thing he dislikes, it's someone who gets jealous easily. Before getting together with MC, he'd ask them if it's okay if he can still tease or play-flirt with others (he wouldn't mind if MC does so as well), but of course he'd still try to respect MC's wishes if not.

It's probably not a surprise, but Roselyna's ideal crush is someone who's sweet and romantic, loves cuddling, and enjoys food (especially sweets) as much as her. Her dream job is to be a teacher, so she also admires someone who knows a lot of things. Oh, and just like Wayne, bonus points if they also like dancing, music, and animals. She also prefers boys, but her first crush is a girl, so gender isn't really a big deal for her.

Rosie's preferred personality stats in-game are Emotional and Altruist, while her favorite genre is Fairytales (and High Fantasy by extension). Appearance-wise she prefers someone tall and chubby (and maybe someone with halfling/fae ancestry or nephilim/werewolf/vampire heritage), but it's not a big deal for her either way (unless they have cambion/unseelie fae heritage). The only other dealbreaker for her (more than not liking hugs and being stoic) is someone who dislikes playing with little kids and not interested in having a family in the future.

Lily isn't really interested in crushes, but hypothetically… she'd want someone honest (unlike herself who likes keeping secrets), independent, and not childish or clingy. She's not a big fan of cuddling (or romantic acts in general), so acts of service as a love language speaks a lot to her. She prefers girls more, but on some level, she also understands why someone would like boys like Wayne. Other than that, she has no big preferences when it comes to appearance.

Besides having an interest in sci-fi and mystery, she'd also vibe well with someone competitive—and not strictly in academic terms. Unlike Rosie though, she has little to no interest in having a family, although she could be persuaded.

JM also isn't interested in crushes, but that's mostly because he's too focused in his studies. But if he is, he admits that he'd like boys like Wayne—minus his silliness, stubbornness, and troublemaking tendencies. That's the one thing he dislikes the most. As with Lily, he also doesn't have any big preferences appearance-wise, though he wouldn't mind if a girl liked him either.

JM's preferred personality stats in-game are Disciplined and Sensible, and his favorite genres are Mythology and Supernatural, so he'd like someone who shares his fascination with the creepy and the supernatural (and thus MCs with divine/supernatural/unseelie fae heritage), especially if he can be competitive with them… but maybe not too much. JM's love language is words of affirmation, so nothing motivates and cheers him up more than a compliment, reassurance, or praise telling him a job well done. You know, things he never heard from his father.

Unlike the other members of F6E, Brandon/Beatrice doesn't really have any gender preferences when it comes to crushes. They also don't have any big preferences regarding appearance, but that might change as the story develops. It does help if MC is the creative and competitive sort, especially if they're also great at swimming and loves giving gifts.

Brandon/Beatrice's preferred personality stats in-game are Honest, Emotional, and Silly, while their favorite genre is Superheroes. But the most important part? You need to accept B's sidequest no matter what, or else they will never have a mutual crush on MC. B would also have considerably more interest in MC if they don't have a bestfriend, but if they do, they'd prefer if it was Roselyna or Wayne instead of JM or Lily.

When it comes to crushes, Cordelia prefers girls (and non-binary individuals) much more than boys. And ideally, a bit chubby and much taller than her with long braided hair—the beauty standards in her culture. Speaking of, she'd be slightly more interested if MC has dwarven or halfling ancestry, or at the very least, has elven/gnomish/goblin/draconic/woodland fae ancestry.

Cordelia's preferred personality stats in-game are Warm and Altruist, and her favorite genre is Adventure (as well as High Fantasy, considering her origin). Given her work, she'd also like someone who shares her interest in animals, cooking, healing/helping people, gift-giving, and especially music. Music is a big part of her culture, so look away if you pick the Musical Averse Trait!

Cham struggles with the concept of crushes, but it'd be a lot easier explaining it to her if you are romantic, and bestfriends or mutual crushes with Wayne. That said, they don't have any preferences gender or appearance-wise, although she'd find it interesting if MC is also genderfluid, have nephilim heritage, or short like Wayne.

She loves hugs (although it's more tackle hugs than cuddling), but when it comes to love languages, she's much more receptive to words of affirmation (receiving) and quality time (giving). They also struggle a bit with other human concepts, so they'd feel less awkward if MC has the Needs Improvement Trait.

Cham's favorite genre is Adventure (and Mythology given her origin), and their preferred personality stats in-game are Silly and Altruist—not Discipline though. She's a troublemaker at heart, and although they have a pet hellhound, that doesn't mean she doesn't retain her aversion to imps and demons (or Cambion/Unseelie Fae MCs) since that got part of her wings torn off.

As for the other two crush options… you'll just have to wait for now! But for MC and Twin's types...

I'm not planning on a choice like that for MC as you can just choose whoever they are interested in, but if you confess to your twin about your crush(es), you will get the choice of what you like about them the most. And in the next update, you will also get the choice of what you think about their appearance after accepting their crush sidequest.

As for MC's Twin, I've already mentioned in the FAQ that if they do have a crush, it will most likely just be a minor character as that's not something I want to explore (I'd rather leave that to headcanon). But now that I think about it, I might give the MC the choice to tease their twin about what their type is, which the Twin will jokingly deny (of course, MC's Twin having no interest in crushes is always an option).

Do you know what D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) alignments are? If you do, then what alignment would you assign to everyone?

I think I'm familiar enough. I don't think there's a set definition for each of the alignments that everyone agrees about (?), so I'll just go with my interpretation of them.

Anyway, this is going to take forever if I actually do everyone, so I'll stick to just F6E + B.

Chaotic Good no question. Wayne just wants to have fun most of the time, but he always tries to make sure no one gets hurt when he does his shenanigans. He might lean a bit closer towards Neutral at times when he tries to bend the rules, but if he does something stupid, it's almost never with bad intentions (especially with Roselyna around).

Even after what B did, he doesn't want to outright hurt them (even though he might joke about it), but he's not afraid to do it.

Rosie's probably somewhere in the middle of Lawful Good and Neutral Good. Ideally she'd want to stay nearer to the lawful side (especially since she's an altar girl), but it's not very hard to sway her opinions when it comes to certain things. Case in point: MC telling Rosie how to deal with B.

She might also be unaware that she's being manipulative at times, but that'll happen less as she grows older.

Lawful Neutral. Well, at least at the beginning of the story. Okay, this is probably the most confusing to me because lawful could either mean following the actual law or having a strict moral code, but either way, I can't explain it properly without spoiling anything.

But True Neutral wouldn't be exactly wrong either. Or maybe Chaotic Neutral depending on your choices later in the story. I dunno, all I'm sure is that she'd stay mostly neutral.

Lawful Good, but shifts towards Neutral Good when we finally visit his story world. I mean it's pretty obvious why he'd be Lawful Good, but again, explaining the shift would be spoiler territory. And the reason is probably not what you think it is.

Hmm, this is a bit tough, but like Lily, I'd say they're anywhere between the neutral axis. You might be correct if you say B is somewhere between True and Chaotic Neutral, but it's not that simple, especially when you finally discover the real reason B got exiled from the group. And it's not just me being indecisive or misunderstanding the alignment system. It's just really hard to talk about without ruining the reveal.

Do the crush options want to get married and/or have kids in the future? If they do, how many kids would they want? Is there a chance that they could change their mind about it/be persuaded, or would wanting/not wanting kids be a dealbreaker for them? Would their preferences/opinion change when they're adults? (If the last question is too spoilery, then you don't have to answer)

Heh, what a question to wake up to! Although I guess it was sort of inevitable. 😄

Some of the information (particularly how many kids Wayne and Roselyna want) can be discovered in the game as secrets, so I'll put the answers below the cut. Oh and before anyone asks, MC's ancestry/heritage doesn't matter when it comes to having kids in the future.

Wayne would definitely want to get married, if it wasn't obvious enough. Nestor mentions in one of the dialogue options in Chapter 4 that Wayne would want 4 kids, two boys and two girls ideally. He even has some of the names planned out, but that secret isn't fully discoverable yet. This likely wouldn't change when he's an adult, but he'd be totally open to adoption and having less/more kids (and changing the names he's planned out).

Not wanting kids isn't exactly a dealbreaker for him, but like I mentioned in the other ask, he'd probably want the relationship to be partially open in that case (so casual flirting and dating, but no one-night stands).

Roselyna would also definitely want to get married, and as you'll find out in her diary, she wants 20 (twenty) kids ideally. Yup. (You can find out in her diary how she got the idea in the first place.)

Of course she's totally willing to lower that to a more reasonable amount once she grows up and starts having kids, but she'd still want it to be on the higher side of reasonable. She's also open to adopting kids (since she's also adopted), but not wanting kids would be practically a dealbreaker.

Honestly, at this point, I don't see Lily ever wanting to get married, with the only possible exception being MC. Other than B, Lily is possibly the hardest crush option to win over, because spoilers. She wouldn't want kids even as an adult, but she could be maaaybe/sorta/kinda persuaded to have one or two at most, via adoption or other alternative methods.

JM's not interested in crushes (and therefore marriage) at the moment because of studies, but in the future, he'd ideally want to get married. And by ideally, it's more of a "it'd be nice" more than "I want to". As for kids, he'd ideally want one or two, but he could probably be persuaded for another one or two more. That said, he'd be fine with not wanting any kids either.

Brandon/Beatrice isn't too keen on getting married at the moment other than a vague dismissive thought of "sure" if you ask them, although that's likely to change in the future depending on later events. They also haven't entertained the thought of having kids yet, so they could be persuaded in either direction.

For Cordelia, the idea of marriage is more of a pipe dream. So yes, she would want to get married, but it would definitely not be near the top of her priorities, even as an adult. She comes from a culture where having plenty of kids is the norm (so she wouldn't be opposed to that idea), but she's more than fine with not having any (and would rather adopt instead if possible).

I mean, Cham is an angel, so it's safe to assume that in her several millenia of existence, she's never even considered of getting married… although they wouldn't necessarily be opposed to it later in the story. The same goes for kids, so she's fine with none, or as many kids as MC could possibly want (adopted or otherwise).

How frequently do the characters use social media? Do they post stuff 24/7, or are they lurkers? What kind of stuff do they post? How many followers do they have?

Hey there! I've been sick as usual, plus my computer hates me, so sorry for the late answer. 😅

I'm not sure about follower counts since it would be mostly just their school/classmates, but JM and B would definitely have the most since they're technically public figures because of their parents.

Hmm, I wouldn't say he uses it a lot, but he does post pictures of himself, Rosie, and his pet birds fairly often. He's fairly active in his group chats, but he has a lot of hobbies, so he doesn't really look at other people's posts until late into the night when he's just alone in his room and he can't sleep.

Besides bird pics and his own drawings, he'll mostly post and share stuff of basically random stuff he finds interesting. Funny videos, weird trivia, baking recipes, stuff like that.

Like Wayne, she likes posting pictures of herself with him, but she also sleeps much earlier than Wayne so she doesn't have much time to chat and stuff.

Besides her own pictures, she'd mostly share pics of cute animals, dresses, food, and the occasional religious quote. She also used to share those chain posts that tell you to share them or something bad will happen, but she's learned from Lily ever since. Of course, she still likes sharing the more positive ones, or those asking for help.

It's probably not a surprise that Lily's mostly a lurker. Her accounts would be mostly empty, with just enough stuff so you don't mistake them for a bot. She chats fairly actively with F6E, but she mostly uses social media for her "investigations" and keeping up with current events. If you need to find out if something's fake, she's the one you go to.

JM's accounts are about 98% school related. Posts and reminders about school events, exams, with maybe sharing the occasional post from his parents. He also probably receives a lot of messages from his classmates and other students he's tutoring, but he rarely starts a conversation himself. If there's anything he wants to geek about, he'll only share them in the F6E group chat.

B's closer to Lily in that they don't really post often, but they still like to post pictures occasionally. Besides that and school stuff, they'd mostly use it to follow other popular blogs/accounts (art, video, music, etc.) that they find interesting.

But unless you count Lily's lurking, B might be the one who uses social media the least.

SUPERR invested in the story after i came after playing IAC (the change in POV is so cute and i cannot help but wonder how we're going to address the. redacted cliffhanger at the end of the game because i was full on YELLING??) but i just had to wonder - since we had the opportunity to have some of our characters be ~romantics~ and have crushes on a few characters (which i will be doing in a later playthrough with jm and lil and the rest wahooo - and that reminds me!! despite playing a completely platonic run the game is still. so enjoyable which is so great and really speaks to the world building),, do any of the characters have crushes on mc (even if not encouraged by the game)? I know some of the characters (spoilers ahead) like rosy canonically think others like brandon are handsome so.... i was wondering if that's the same for us :3 have a great day!

Hello there, I'm glad you liked reading DDWCaPH! after playing IAC! 😊 Which is a good thing, because the two stories won't converge until Volume 4, hehe.

But to answer your question: Currently, only Wayne and Roselyna can have a secret crush on MC (if you meet their chemistry requirements).

Your chemistry score with each character depends on a lot of factors, such as your appearance, traits, personality stats, and choices. (Send me another ask if you want specifics for each character!) If your confession results in a "Mutual Crush Established!", that means they were already having a crush on MC. But if not, you will still have several opportunities to win them over the course of the story.

The easiest way to know if Wayne or Roselyna has a crush on MC without confessing, is if they're waiting for you to wake up after the Chapter 5 incident (unless they're your bestfriend, since your BFF will always be there). You can also discover if Wayne/Roselyna has a crush on MC if you read the Valentine's entry in Roselyna's diary if you sneak inside her room (although I haven't written that entry yet).

But for JM, Lily, and B, they won't have a crush on MC until later, and they will never develop the crush even if you meet their chemistry requirements, unless MC shows interest first.

(And if anyone's curious, it's possible for Cordelia to have a secret crush on MC too if you meet her requirements, but Cham is the most oblivious, so there will be no progress with her until MC confesses first.)

That said, I want to make it clear that you won't be missing any scenes at all if you decide to just be friends with everyone. Thank you so much for the ask! 😄

Hi there! Hope that you're doing well ^-^ I know I'm kinda late, but I just catched up with the new update and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE every bit of it!! So many new secrets! (not sure if I found all of them, so I'll be replaying more) and I adore all the crush moments with all of F6E and the confession scenes with Rosie and Wayne, they're so adorable!

Also also I love that you add options for us to decide what to call Tita Julie and Tito Robert, and even use nicknames for MC's best friends. And I'm not sure if this is a new feature or if I missed it before, but I had a lot of fun editing/adding notes to the diary! I like having headcanons about my MCs and it's nice that I can type them into the diary and make them feel more canon.

For the ask: how would Rosie and Lily react about the nicknames my MCs made for them? Would Lily know about the meaning? And since Rosie would know about hers, would she have a hint about MC's crush? And I haven't made up similar nicknames for Wayne, JM, and B (it's harder to work with their names), but how would they react in the same situation?

Ahhh I'm so glad you liked all the crush scenes! They were very fun to write. 😊 There's actually two possible confession scenes for Wayne (one at The NeStore and the cheek kiss), and three possible for Roselyna (the cheek kiss, her BFF scene, and after the bus scene).

You can also check all the secrets in this guide, but I'll be adding a bunch more in the next update!

And yup, the diary postscripts are a new feature! 😄 This is exactly the kind of thing I hoped people would do, so thanks for sharing them!

As for how F6E would react...

I actually have this idea that Lily had a whole researching session at one point about lilies for that exact reason, so her winning that debate would be accurate, hehe. She probably knows what calla meant, but she wouldn't really think twice about the meaning cuz they're just flowers (unless MC starts acting really weird), and crushes are probably the last thing on her mind anyway.

Ohh I love Reyna as a nickname! Rosie is pretty much a nickname collector, and I almost wanna include it in the preset options since I also like the idea of nicknames out of a nickname.

She'd absolutely like it especially because she wants to be a princess, but the nickname itself won't make her think that MC has a crush. As romantic as she is, she isn't really expecting anyone to have a crush on her.

Wayne's fairly good at sensing if someone has a crush on him, but if MC gives him a special nickname, he'll take it as a challenge and return the favor by also giving MC a cute nickname, if he doesn't have one prepared already. (I think a flower/bird-related nickname combo between Wayne and MC would be really cute, hehe.)

If you have enough chemistry points with Wayne in Chapter 2 and ask him to sing with you, you'll learn that he's actually preparing a special song for MC's birthday. 😄

There's a very low chance that JM would realize the crush if the nickname was very subtle. If someone does point it out to him, he'll just try to brush it off and think that MC is just teasing him. That's totally going to be on his mind all night and all week, and he'll try to distract himself with work/studying until he gives in and confront MC if they really mean the nickname (half-hoping that they don't because he thinks they shouldn't be thinking about that yet). He'd admit that it's very sweet though.

Well, B already has seven possible nicknames for MC (it depends on your traits, but the default is "Weirdo"), so it's likely that B will keep teasing MC lightheartedly with that nickname if it does come to that point in their relationship (unless MC hates it of course).

As for B's actual reaction to MC giving them a nickname, they'll just say "No", turn around with an eyeroll, and leave. It'll be on their mind all day and try to be obnoxious to MC and avoid them as much as possible because that obviously isn't happening.

Anyway, I have to say that I'm surprised how well you managed to write the diary entry like how I write MC's thoughts. 😅 I'm actually thinking of adding a separate nickname/term of endearment for the crush options later, so that should be fun.

Wayne & Roselyna

If you chose to sneak inside Roselyna's bedroom in Chapter 5 (or chose Rosie as your bestfriend), you'd know that she and Wayne both have a diary. If you haven't read those scenes yet, I recommend you do because... well, it's hard to explain without spoiling the secret.

Roselyna will let MC read her diary if they're bestfriends, but she will absolutely feel betrayed if she discovers that MC read her diary without permission... and you know what she did to those students bullying her in Chapter 2. 😉 Her tone will change if she discovers that MC has a crush on her, while she'll be more embarrassed than angry if she also has a crush on MC. She'll still be angry and distrustful, but at that moment she'll be more surprised that MC has a crush on her in the first place.

As for Wayne... let's just say that Rosie will be more angry on behalf of him. He'll still be plenty angry of course, but he's more likely to give MC a cold shoulder. MC having a crush does make things confusing, but he'll expect a fair trade and get access to MC's diary as well.

Lily

It's mentioned in Chapter 2 that Lily has a diary, but there's no way MC will be able to read Lily's diary. If MC ever gets the chance to read her diary, it's because she let them read it, but I don't ever see that happening, mutual crush or not.

JM

Okay, JM doesn't actually have a diary, although he does have a planner that's always with him. During the sleepover, he'll start considering having a diary, since he's basically the only one in F6E who doesn't have one.

Once he does have one though, it doesnt matter if MC has a crush or not. JM can be persuaded to look the other way if you're breaking some school rules, but not this one.

Brandon/Beatrice

B probably started having a diary after getting kicked out of the group. You can probably imagine what's in there.

As for B's reaction... well, MC better be ready because two can play at that game, and B will never forget something like that. (B will also just assume that MC having a crush is just a lame excuse. Why would MC have a crush anyway?)

Cordelia

I don't think Cordelia has a diary, but she probably keeps a journal of some sort (detailing the events happening around the camp), and handles the inn/tavern's business records. She probably also keeps a copy of her mother's cookbook with her own additions.

In that case, she'll be willing to indulge MC's curiosity (except maybe the tavern records) and share her own recipes and stories.

Chamyrrha

Cham also doesn't have a diary, since she more or less has a perfect memory (she just tends to get distracted), and she tends to focus more on other people instead of spending time inside her own thoughts. Although, it might be a good idea for her to keep one anyway to help her focus.

She totally wouldn't mind MC reading her diary, and would be confused why she's "supposed" to be angry, since knowing what people are feeling comes naturally to her anyway. She'd just be like, "Okay, I'll be angry if I'm supposed to", pout for a bit, and move on.
