As cute as he is, I still don't get how they managed to work baby Brian in there. The timeline doesn't fit. I mean, Dom's been away from Elena for quite some time, at least two years or maybe three. If she had a kid by Dom, wouldn't he be at least two or three by now?

baby brian is an ageless entity of chaos and street racing, no human concepts of time can contain him.

(seriously though, you’re absolutely right. it doesn’t really fit the timeline that F&F gave us. BUT, if you just say “fuck the F&F timeline”, then it can be worked out. the baby that played baby Brian was about 7 months old when they filmed the movie [please don’t ask how I know this, I get obsessive with researching things that I like]. so if Elena was, let’s say AT MOST 1 - 4 months pregnant at the beginning of F7 [no baby bump, and that’s about the time most women start to develop one, so can’t be past that], then that means the time between the beginning of F7 and F8 would be between 12 - 15 months, assuming Brian wasn’t born preterm. which would make sense, considering Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon in F8, and I doubt they’d do that 2 - 3 years after getting married.

… sorry. I’ve been trying to put something reasonable together for this for my soulmate au, so I’ve been thinking about it a lot, lmao.)
