We have some sad news.

Sadly because of school and work we'll have to postpone this site until later. Probably in the summer when we both have more time. But do not fear, the site will be up. The admins just want to be able to put 110% into it so we can really make it great, and with real life getting in the way like this we can’t do that.  We hope that once we get back and start advertising about the site again that you aalll lovely people will be with us.

Rules and Procedures Revealed!

·You can only have one character until you have 3 active threads with that character.

·However if you create a character from a ‘smaller’ country before you create a character from a 'larger' country, you can then create a second character before you have 3 active threads.

·For now, when claiming countries we’re only going to allow 5 characters in each member group per country (the 3 different types count as 3 member groups for this purpose); this site is not about having characters from the US or the UK, it’ll be most interesting if we have characters from everywhere.

·When requesting a face for a specific country, please, please, think about the ethnic background of a character. Indian does not equal Hispanic because they’re both of somewhat dark skin. We reserve the right to not accept your face claim if it does not match the country that you claim with it. (this will be rare; think if someone claimed Nicholas Holt for China)

·Remember this site facilitates the use of People of Color playbys, use this.

·If you have any further questions don’t hesitate to ask!

Member Groups Revealed!

Rookies These are the youngest students at Prenese Academy (16-18) who have just arrived to the school and are still learning the ropes. They’re the newbies of the school, ready to take on any challenge, because they don’t know the challenges. Will some of them crack under the pressure? Courses: economics, history, world religions, political science, public speaking, languages

Juniors These are the middle students at the Academy (19-21); they’ve already learned how the school functions but are not yet ready to be delegates. Unlike the Rookies, they already know the ropes of the Academy but they have so much yet to learn. Courses: economics, history, world religions, political science, public speaking, languages, cultural studies, and debate

Specialists These are the oldest students and the ones most worried about their future as delegates (22-25) They own the school; they have the teachers down to a science they know every nook and cranny of the castle, but they’re ready to leave, ready to become delegates, but not everyone can succeed in that goal, who will? Courses: economics, history, world religions, political science, public speaking, languages, simulations, cultural studies, debate, communication skills, and understanding the media

Prenese Staff This group is made up of anyone who works at the Academy. This includes but is not limited to: teachers, maintenance, assistants, managing teams, and any other staff position you may be able to think of. The teachers can teach any of the courses listed above, and there can be more than one teacher per course.

Delegates These are the current delegates of the Peace Council. Delegates serve for as long as they wish, unless the council, as a whole, feels some need to remove the delegates from their post. No one really knows what delegates do, the entire post is a mystery, all anyone knows is that they need the skills taught at Prenese; its kept secret on purpose. (If you choose to be a delegate you will be let in on the secret)

Scouts These are the people who choose worthy candidates for Prenese Academy and deliver them to the school. As ex-students (the ones who didn’t get chosen as delegates) of Prenese Academy they know what it takes to succeed at the school. Different scouts have different manners of choosing students, and how much they mentor them along the way. Scouts can be brand new, or very old, your choice.

Plot Reveal!

Bombs fell from planes onto skyscrapers, farms, and homes alike. Fires bloomed from coast to coast. Beaches were stormed with full force. South America cowered beneath the might of the joint China-Russia armies. The United States soon recovered from shock and raised its own forces with its European partners. The war ravaged nearly every country of the world as the war raged for nearly ten years. Then, all of a sudden the war ended. The council made up of representatives from the major warring nations signed a peace treaty and, for unknown reasons, the leaders of these countries accepted the terms and stopped the fighting. The main stipulation of the treaty being that each country would have three delegates to keep the peace that would be chosen from a new school Prenese Academy.

This academy would house as many students from each country as the scouts thought necessary to inspire competition between them in order to produce the best delegates. After their last year, at the age of 25, the students would participate in challenges that would determine which of the three of them would be delegates. Over their years at Prenese the students would be taught in various areas of study including math, history, world religions, political science, public speaking, languages, simulations, cultural studies, and debate. Becoming delegates is their main goal, but drama is inevitable when you can cut the tension with a knife. Everyone wants to be the best, but only three can be delegates, who will prevail and what happens to those who don't?

In 2050 the Chinese carried out the mission they had been planning for 10 years: attacking the United States of America, effectively starting World War Three. Lines were drawn, alliances made, lives lost. The ten year war sparked animosity between nations, regardless of what side they were on. It was not until the Universal Peace Treaty was passed, with a provision to create a school that taught young people from each nation how to successfully negotiate terms, without war, that the ten year struggle was brought to an end. Now, at Prenese Academy, students from the ages of 16-25 learn to become delegates as the face the trials and tribulations of every day life and deal with the political tensions that surround their existence at the school. False Alarm is a no word count Academy based site set in ever neutral Switzerland. The site revolves around the need to keep peace between countries that are still licking their wounds and how students who are meant to keep this peace in the future cope with that burden.
