It’s song rec time again! Today’s song is La Fille Sans Nom by Cécile Corbel and Faada Freddy which is a song I first didn’t like very much but now it has grown on me :”D Also the melody is rly catchy so you might wanna listen to it few times ;)

Réinventant le celtic-rock à la sauce Club, A New Kind of Freedom navigue entre plusieurs continents. Dévoilé en décembre dernier avec le single « Christmas 1914 », l’album porte très bien son nom. Il offre une nouvelle forme de liberté, une émancipation bénéfique. Pour réaliser cet exercice périlleux, le Celtic Social Club a fait appel à Faada Freddy, caution découverte de l’album.

Two year ago

a friend asked me to come with her to a concert of a singer I didn’t know at all. so before saying yes, I went to look around on the internet whith my mom - always curious - to see if I could fidn some music of this guys

I found things. and it was horrible. Bad. Berk.

But it was a long time since I saw that friend, so I decided to go anyway, at least for her.

and... the concert was awesome. the video I had found were not at all representative of what the guy was capable of. I loved it.

back home, I begun to look for him again. I needed to explain my mother how the guy was actually awesome. but I had nothing. the internet was full of old crappy stuff. I could show the truth to no one in my family.

and then, the time passed, I studied, forgot that night, forgot that concert, and kept on with life

Last Sunday I went to an other concert of a singer I love since years: Cécile Corbel. and today, to write, I decided to go on her channel to listen to some of her songs.

and that how I found back that wonderful singer of two years ago.
