W O W: what a gift to wake up on one's anniversary of birth to find a MULTI-CHAPTER FIC (!!!) penned by three fandom besties that is full of A N G U I S H, excellent small details which show us how that anguish blanket settled on one Andrew Joseph Minyard + all of us knowing there are FIVE more interactions which will surely change the dynamic from this OTP who have been separated from a-soon-to-be-discovered collection of reasons. (yes, that WAS all one sentence 😂)

This is one of my favorite pictures of me and my friend Sam. 

This is one of my favorite pictures in the world. In the solar system. In the Milky Way. The universe. The multiverse. All dimensions theorized and predicted by string theory. Any future dimension yet to be dreamt of. 

Yes, we are sharing an enormous scarf. Yes, we are delighting in the enormous scarf while it is clearly sunny and summery and midday in the middle of July. Yes, Sam does not look like he is delighting in the enormous scarf or much of anything, but trust me, he is. Trust me: his is the look of one who cannot possibly delight any deeper than he is right at this moment. 

So. 

Sam and I have created a poetry journal called Underblong. Maybe, probably, it’s pretty likely that it’ll expand to house multi-genre work sometime. For now, it’s poetry. So please send us poems. Send us your best and blongiest. We love weird-ass stuff. We love ass. We want to love you and give your work a very beautiful digital home. (More about what we love is available in handy-dandy list form here.)

I’d like to play a game with you all!

 Basically add stuff to this sketch, reblog it and I’ll add on and we’ll go till this is filled! If lots of people play there may be multiple reblog chains of this post with different results so that could be cool!

Rules are pretty simple

I’ll look and see what people have added on and if I see interesting ones will add more back in myself, or reblog cool “chains” that other people are doing! Probably won’t reblog nsfw chains. 

If you do nsfw I obviously can’t stop you but that just means I personally won’t reblog/add to it (unless its really cool) 

No hate art (same as above but really don’t do that) 

If you’re painting on top of other people’s contributions try to respect what they’ve already made, do not eliminate what’s already there (feel free to add color, shading, texture, accessories, etc) 

Likewise understand that people are free to do pretty much anything with whatever you put in this project! 

HAVE FUN!

This is just an experiment so who knows if people will actually play but please if you feel that your art isn’t good enough don’t be intimidated! This project is all about collaborating and having fun, and you might be surprised by the end result.

Just sent a gigantic Word document containing all of my ideas/sketches to Mikey.

Let's hope the verdict is good.

I'm so nervous! But excited! I'm glad I'll FINALLY be able to talk to him about all of the ideas I've had. I've been waiting for so long, and I am really proud of what I've come up with.

Now I just have to wait for him to read it all and get back to me...
