Well that was an extremely fun afternoon - best atmosphere at a game for ages, a Viv goal, clean sheet and we beat City!
Some sloppy play at times and should have ben creating more chances, but so so muhh better than against Chelsea - basically the whole team were playing with a real fiery intensity. Every time they lost the ball (which was more than they should have at times) they immediately fought to get it back. Think they should have scored more (Jordan, that sitter!) but at the end of the day they won and that's what matters. Plus, pretty sure City didn't even get a shot on goal!
Thought the whole team played well on the whole but special mention to Katie's defending, Kim bossing the midfield, Viv and DVD's continuous pressing and Lisa's runs down the right.
Brilliant atmosphere, especially in the second half - lots of shouting and chanting.
One thing I found a bit odd was the lack of subs in regular time though - with the amount of work they were all putting in it seemed odd not to get some fresh legs on...
I'll have a look through my pics when I get home to see if there are any decent ones - the sun was pretty blinding in the first half (I had to use my programme as a sunshade so I could see the game!) and then the late was fading towards the end so I'll have to see how they turn out.
Oh, and the ref was pretty shit.
