This theme was created months ago, and since then specific fonts are now dead and have been replaced by defaults. Certain parts of this theme do not work, and although you may change a few things here and there so that they might, it’s a bit of a hassle and doesn't look nearly as good as it once did. I'm horribly sorry!
Theme 2 - Live Preview - Pastebin Code - Freetexthost Code
This theme edit was done by sunliqhted and originally made by mkbye. I have permission to publish it and I have decided to continue making theme edits and publishing them and working my way up to making one from a basecode. I'm going to be sharing a theme blog with a great friend of mine and she makes personal themes, which I find extremely interesting because then our blog won't only be about one specific blog type, you know?
If you’re using this, considering it, or just simply like the look of it please like this post, especially if you’re going to be using it for yourself.
This theme looks best in google chrome.
If you want to change a word to look like “name” in the description just put: <me> word of your choice or even your name here </me>. To customize what font, colour, text size and what not of that word go to your html, ctrl+f and find me {.
The gif that appears when you hover over the sidebar has a set grayscale, meaning that no matter what kind of coloured image you put like a gif or just a photo, it'll show up grey. If you don't like it, just go through your html, ctrl+f -webkit-filter:grayscale(100%); and delete only that.
If you’re going to use a music player I strongly recommend you get it from here and get the links for the songs from here. If you have troubles with working the music player, Kim (aka qirls) posted a tutorial for it. (not sure if she originally made it or who did.)
To ensure that the posts look nice, make sure to set your posts to 15 and not 10 under “advanced” when you go to customize your blog.
An incredibly cool description that appears in place of the gif or picture in the sidebar when you hover over it. I take great pride in how nice it looks.
Random sidebars every time you refresh the page [x5]
Snazzy transitions (credit to fyeahcodes and Sarahi.)
Lace border and a quote bar
Coloured sideback strip-things
Many fonts to choose from
Playlist and updates popup
A space to put both your music player and your stats
This theme was inspired by Allison (britishbu) because at first, she asked me to make a custom edit for her using Celina's theme. She asked me to have the description appear when you hover over the gif/ picture inside the sidebar, and I really loved that idea and even when I finished her edit, I just kept editing and editing and bam, somehow this happened.
For the lace border, I used a tutorial by awkinq.
Everything that you see in the preview is in the code, meaning that once you transfer it onto your blog it will look exactly like the preview. All the colours, images, words, and links are pre-installed so you'll have them, in case you're lazy like me.
If you want to add, remove, change or alter something and you don’t know how, I have a theme edits page that you can look at and if you read my conditions I will gladly help you. Or if you want to try it on your own, just ask me if you have any concerns and I’ll reply asap :)
P.S. Please don’t take credit for this. Even though I didn’t make the theme from scratch and I fully admit to that, it doesn’t mean I don’t deserve recognition for the work I did do. If I see anybody stealing the codes and claiming to have edited it themselves, I will report you and tell other theme makers to be wary of you. And to people just using this theme because they like it, thank you so much and I hope you like it! If you have any questions don’t be afraid to ask and well, yeah that’s it. Have a lovely day, or evening, depending on where you are.
