Whereas I felt like the show was wasting my time because he would never end up with these girls because Lois was out there somewhere

like i just didn't know about lois or really any of the superman lore aside from what i saw on smallville, so i had no clue he and lois were gonna end up together until s4 when i asked my parents why they were so excited about lois being on the show

also my mom was one of those people who speculated in the early seasons that chloe was just going to fill lois's role and that they weren't going to bring lois onto the show, and i always watched with her and my dad, so there was always this kind of air of "clark and chloe will end up together"-ness

but yeah. we are all giant stereotypes and if u add in the fact that in addition to all the lesbians on this floor, there are also like 3 straight girls, one of whom is a devout christian, and well
