Announcement

Hi friends, followers and everything in between,  It’s gotten to the point in time where I think it would be for the best to completely overturn this blog and start again. Not anew, but different.  In light of recent events (I think you all know what I mean) looking at this URL is just getting me down in every way. I’m not going to get into that but that’s my reasoning. On top of that, I’m aware that my URL doesn’t fit me well anymore. I started out as a Glee blog and I’ve been so many other things up until this point, most evidently my switch from ‘normal tv’ to Anime then to more of a balance between the two which is where I’m at now. Though not very active. I’ll be sad to stop using the name, having used it for the past 9/10 years or so but it’s time to let go of it. It’s time to let go of the name I’ve had for so long, the summary I’ve kept on here for so long due to it being written by a friend, the fanfiction...it’s time to change.  I’m not sure what this blog’s gonna turn into. Fanfiction still of course. Anime. TV shows. Gaming. Probably a blend of everything. It’s unnerving but exciting at the same time. I’ll make another post when I decide on my new URL, just to give a heads up. Thanks for reading if you got this far. :)

I was mostly in the Love Live! fandom for the entirety of my time on tumblr, so I read and wrote a lot of fanfiction for it. Right now I’m focusing on Danganronpa more, however.

She has written and still currently writes a lot of LL fanfiction, although she’s in multiple fandoms. One of her most notable works is Let it Burn, which is now on its 58th chapter! That’s a crazy length I aspire to go to someday, but for now, I’m not sure if I am able to write a compelling piece that long.

LL has a lot of characters even if you just include the main characters, which is 9, and I’m always in awe of the way she writes their interactions and where the plot goes next. With that many characters involved, there’s a lot of dialogue, as needed, and it moves quickly. In Let it Burn specifically (as an example), she’s incredibly creative with the background she’s created for the character motivations, how they’re connected (because it’s not just as school idols!), and their relationships with other characters, even outside of the main 9 girls in LL School Idol Project. I immensely enjoy the way she characterizes the girls and boldly shows their human sides: flaws and strengths all out in the open. 

I haven’t read her writing in a long time since I’ve joined the Danganronpa fandom and been occupied with other activities, but I do hope to go back and catch up on Let it Burn, at least.

KotoUmi. I mean it’s not so much a hate as much as a dislike, but it’s also the only Love Live! ship I just… specifically don’t like.
