Ceramics for the Anthropocene

radicate.eu kindly hosted us to the official conference and opening of the project Ceramics for the Anthropocene at Campus Universitario di Savona and at Museo della Ceramica di Savona. It was a big pleasure to let our computational point of view be contaminated by the amazing tradition of local craftmenship and materials of Liguria valleys. A huge thank you to Francesca Perona, Marco Tortarolo, Tiziana Casapietra and her amazing team! We look forward to meet you all very soon for new projects and collaborations! clay-ing again … some tests of the new extruder !

Month of may started with some new experiments with clay! The main goal was inducing material unexpected behaviors by only acting on the nozzle/layer height parameter at constant arm velocity and tool pressure. Controlling those events may be quite challenging (and catastrophic) if triggered on extremely slender geometries.

our latest efforts to develop and finally have a 3mm PLA extruder for the COMAU robots ! it was exhibited by COMAU company at Mecspe 2016.
