For an inspiring Fablab space!
Fab guru believes that a creative space inspires peoples creative mind. And since Willich Fab lab is located in an industrial space, it is a very dry and unorganised space. For instance in the 270cm space, we don’t have have much room to work on materials. We have only 3 chairs to sit on. Day by day Alex and some of us suggest and try to convince some nice changes, such as a nice working table for the centre , new chairs, a hanging garden (hopefully), some wooden floor design or portraits on the wall. But there are 400 people working there, things don’t change so quick. Fab guru should not do this alone, it has to be done with Fablab Willichs core team and other users from the company. So what we can do is to drop some inspiring suggestions not only by word of mouth but through all means day and night! (Some time things have changed in the evening time when there are no people) Mariusz table design won the Fablab Willich table competition! And we connected to Fablab Bristol, Suwa and Wayne online (https://appear.in) again! I would like to share a great work of Josias from Fablab Willich! Its an amazing tool box!
