First time at the Fabled Realm // Second time at the Fabled Realm.

It took me a while to post this Squid Game trend because today, April 7th, is the day when I drew my OC, Samara Yumeko, besides... It's her birthday.

✨🐍Happy Year of the Snake🐍✨

For this celebration, I drew Samara together with one of her Fabled monsters, a snake, Nozoochee.

Fabled Nozoochee is based more on a Yokai from Japanese culture, in western Japan it is called Tsuchinoko (meaning "son of the hammer"), while in the northeast it is known as Bachi Hebi ("honey snake", its translation). It is described as a peaceful and solitary creature, with the ability to talk and deceive people.

Context?... Let's say that Malik visits the spirit world, in the Fabled Realm, where he sees Samara for the first time in her Fabled form, the Queen of this place.

And at first he couldn't recognize her because of her more mature appearance.

I took the chance to pick some Sanrio's characters that weren't present in the collaboration, to dress them up as some Fabled monsters from Samara's deck.

Of course, from the cards, I chose her Duel Monster Spirit, her ace card, and the mischievous twins.
