Arthur has several bags, packed with all matter of things and suited for different purposes. There are only five things, however, that he keeps on himself constantly. The first three are regular items: a set of keys, a plain brown leather wallet and, as much as he despises the thing, his hideously outdated phone. On the inside pocket of his coat, fittingly close to his heart, he keeps a small photograph of Astrid holding Aria on the day she was born, with the time, date and her weight penned messily on the back. The last is one of the University branded pens, not that he’s ever used it to actually write with. For all he knows, it might not work at all. But he finds it fits in his hand quite comfortingly and likes to click the end when things get stressed.
