You know, the more I think about it... The more I realize my other TWAU OC is going to end up with a villain arc in like, two steps 😭.

I still haven't properly introduced her yet but, I was analysing Lysianassa's lore and how intimately she is tied to Nerissa's story since they are sisters.

But the thing is that, Lysia is very protective of her baby sister, and considering we have strong evidence that Faith is actually the Nerissa we saw (so many things could be uniquely Faith's that she let slip since neither Bigby nor Snow knew Nerissa), I believe I can make this even more gut-wreching.

The Little Mermaid's character is portrayed as a kind, gentle soul with a selfless heart, and considering we know Nerissa was the one that revealed Faith's leverage attempt to Georgie... So we assume Nerissa is quite the pacifist and, to say in better words, coward. So that made me think her reaction, so passionate while confronting the Crooked Man even more strange.

(we could argue that it was because she had enough, but still, if we consider that might actually be Faith in disguise... It fits her personality).

SO, if we consider Nerissa was this melancholic, gentle soul filled with sadness and heartbreak... Boy, things get INTENSE. Because we know Nerissa was forced into this life, she had the ribbon placed on her neck and was forced into silence until her death.

The whole plot with Lysianassa is that she wants to find her sister and bring her back to their family... Her discovering her little sister, her sweet selfless sister, was forced into selling her body, in silence, only to be then killed...

My girl will have more than enough reasons to become a villain. SPECIALLY SINCE, Nerissa and Lysianassa are technically nymphs (daughters of Nereus in my AU, and yes, the Greek Mythology Nereus), and you know what nymphs are known for? Wrathful Nature.

As in: Cause FATALITIES TO MANY wrathful.

So ngl guys, I am tempted to do another variant of my AU with Lysianassa becoming an enemy of Fabletown... Blaming them for the death of her sister, wishing to make all land dwellers pay for taking her away from her family. 👀

(since she only becamed a human to get with a Human Fable Prince to begin with-)

Still deciding if I am going to make her more criminal-style kind of villain, or if I'll make her a more magical threat sort of thing. (As in, her raw magical powers are more worrisome)

It was long, thirty years ago. The first of her family to leave The Farm, despite the long time it took to get a glamour and finally step in dry land.

The reports were short, but foward: Former Princess of the Underwater Kingdom in the Mediterranean in the Homelands. We still do not know why she didn't joined the others in the Exodus, but she and her family, along with some subjects, managed to come to the Mundane World.

Now she lives here. Sometimes she goes to the Business Office, but most of the time, she keeps to herself. Always working, from what word goes; When not in the Gardens of Bluebeard's place or the entrance of the Woodlands, it is in her organization. After she took upon herself and builded the 'M.F.A' or 'Marine Fables Association'. The Fabletown Government regularly confiscate their activities but so far, everything has been legitime.

'To aid other Fables' she says 'In a world where we are not familiar with, nor know how to adapt'. It seems a valid cause, but one can only worry how long can such organization operates, considering the unstable nature of Water Creatures.

But despite her good efforts, we do not know what led her here. She is proud, stubborn and forward: Still holding into the grace and elegance of her former status, unlike many other princesses that had long adapted to the Mundy Reality. Why would a mermaid acquire glamour to pass as human? Did she really believed The Farm was too small, too beneath her? Or does she aim for something else?"

This is the perfect opportunity for me to reveal my TWAU insert, actually! I just finished her up:

BUT YES MORE INFO ABOUT HER UNDER THE CUT BECAUSE THIS GOT LONG:

My insert just goes by ‘Red’ in Fabletown. She’s a kind hearted, spunky gal who works with her Grandma in their tailor/alterations shop known as The Red String. She often makes deliveries to people and fables who either are too busy or can’t afford glamor to go out and pick up their fabrics and clothing from their actual shop. She carries a knife and pepper spray at all times for protection, and low-key reinforces all her shoes with belted steel so that any kick from her can and will fuck you up.

Bigby is a common customer at the Red String because of all of the bullet holes he gets and all of the clothes he can go through with his transformations, but he prefers to have his clothes delivered to and from by Red because her Grandma is uhhh less than happy to ever see him or know he’s at the place. She also frequents the Trip Trap on her time off. Gren is her best friend is almost like a brother figure to her, and Holly is fond of her as a daughter as well. She despises the Dums and is terrified of Bloody Mary. The Woodsman has fond memories of her too, but, he makes her a bit uneasy to be honest. He’s changed a lot since they had first met. 

Bigby used to terrify her for the first hundred years or so after the whole original Fable incident of being eaten, but, over time she’s grown more and more comfortable around him as he proves to kind of have changed and want to help the Fables more than hurt them. Over time she grows used to seeing him and even starts to trust him (much to her grandmother’s dismay). 

They become especially close during the events of the game where one of the first few leads Bigby and Snow try to follow is the maker of the ribbons Faith and the other prostitutes were wearing. He goes to The Red String and asks about them. Red is the only one there and she confirms that she DID make the ribbons/supplied the fabric, but what happened after was none of her business because the delivery man (Beast probably) took em and went off. 

Being nosy she followed Bigby afterwards though and got involved in all of the shenanigans going down, eventually leading to them falling in love ;u;
