Hey everyone! Thank you so much for your interest and patience regarding FabletownRP. We know it’s been a long wait, but we didn’t want to put out a date until everything was ready. There are still some things that need working on, but Riley and I are confident that we should be ready to open next week on Friday, October 26th.

We’ll post the time we intend to open later on. And if there are any changes, we’ll let you guys know. Seriously though, you all are the best crowd we could ever have hoped for :’)

hey there! interested in joining but was wondering if the skin is light, dark, or neutral? due to an eye condition, I can't read light text on a dark background very well. ty!

The skin is dark themed with light text on a dark background. However, it would not take too much time to make edits and modify a light skin version for people who’d rather read black-on-white :)

You don’t go to the Trip Trap for the ambiance. You go because you have nowhere better to be.

I’m requesting two familiar faces from the Trip Trap bar in Fabletown. Ever since the Adversary forced them to abandon the Homelands, they’ve been close friends with Grendel. He fights for them, sometimes with them. They can usually forget their differences over the span of a few hours and a round of shots. Just about everything about them is open, including their faces. Feel free to message me and discuss. I would be thrilled to see them in play! HOLLY is the spitfire owner of the Trip Trap. When she fled to Fabletown, the troll sold everything she had to afford her human glamour and bar. A shrewd businesswoman, she’s more fortunate than most fables fighting to stay out of the Farm. Her regulars are close to her heart, which doesn’t have room for much else ever since she and her sister Lily stopped talking. THE WOODSMAN is a tragic hero. He won’t let anyone forget it, or how he saved Little Red Riding Hood from the Big Bad Wolf. Woody is less forthcoming about how he had been scheming to rob Red’s grandmother before accidental heroism found him first. A violent man, he’s fallen on hard times and struggles to support himself with his brawn and outdated fame.

can you explain what you’re looking for in the first section of the app? are we free to write whatever so long as it gives you a feel for our character’s personality and history?

That’s spot on. The application is free-form; so long as we get a sense of what they’re like, where/how they’ll fit into the site, and a bit of what your writing style is like. We’ll lay out what length we’re looking for later, but likely it’ll be a minimum word count of 450 words.

Early Claims (Round Two):

Having recently reached another milestone of followers, we’ve decided to open up another round of early claims. The rules are the same as last time, so please check the #faceclaim and #fableclaim tagged posts before sending in a request! 

Canonically Deceased Fables: 

Any character that has died in either the Vertigo comics and/or The Wolf Among Us is available to play. We have also decided that fables who have died in the homelands (those who didn’t make it to Fabletown) are also allowed to be written. It is up to you how you’d like to write their story!
