puppy love

Pairing: Quinn and Blaine

A/N: I don't even know... this was pretty much stream-of-consciousness 

"Blaine!" the blonde girl hissed, though her eyes were lit with joy.  She brought a hand up to wipe at the sloppy wet lick that Blaine had just given her up the side of her neck.

"You're not a dog!" she laughed, her eyes full of mirth.

Blaine's honey eyes sparkled as he broke out into a grin, bouncing on the balls of his feet.

I take that back, Quinn thought, you're a friggen puppy.

"What are you doing!" she giggled at their present positioning while she nuzzled into his neck.

"What? A guy can't touch his girlfriend?"

Quinn shook her head, "Well a normal guy would put his hand up his girl's shirt or something,"

Blaine pouted playfully and Quinn scrunched her nose up at him.  She tweaked his purple and butterscotch striped bow tie then leaned in to press their foreheads together.  They both sighed contently and Quinn's eyes fluttered shut.  Then, Blaine lifted his head up, a sly smile and a deep blush across his cheeks.  The pair locked eyes for a minute until Blaine finally reached his hand out towards her chest.

"Honk," he said softly as he gave her breast a gentle squeeze.

It was the most un-sexy but incredibly endearing way he had ever gotten to second base with her.  Quinn opened and closed her mouth as she gaped at him in disbelief.

"You're ridiculous," she whispered at last.

"You're gorgeous," he said before dipping in to place feathery soft kisses along the length of her neck.

His soft dark curls tickled Quinn's face and a quiet laugh bubbled from her throat.  The ex-warbler pulled away and looked at her through his thick lashes.

"Want to take this upstairs?" he suggested in a low raspy tone.

She wondered for a second whether she ought to be concerned that she was so attracted to this hobbity boy who had, moments ago, honked her boob.  After a moment her tongue darted out to wet her lips and she nodded, letting her puppy of a boyfriend pull her up from her seat.  He picked her hand up to his mouth and pressed a light kiss in her palm.  Next, he placed a long hot stripe of a lick on her wrist, his eyes locked on hers the whole time.

"Let's do it doggy style," she breathed out before even realizing what she had said.

Blaine eyes widened in surprise, mirroring the look of shock on Quinn's own face.  Then, recovering from the boldness of the statement, he winked at her and quickly hauled her onto his back.  The blonde wrapped her legs around his waist, shaking her head at the fact that he was going to give her a piggy-back ride before giving it to her from behind.

"We're gonna have sex!" he exclaimed as he ran down the hall with a giggling Quinn on his back.

When Angels Sing

Pairing: quaine (Blaine and Quinn) This is a companion drabble for this gifset

As Quinn finished the last notes of her solo, Blaine’s eyes shone bright with unshed tears as he watched her take her seat. He had suspected it when he first spoke to her but now, after hearing the sweet melody of her voice, he was certain- it was her. His mind flashed back to that dreadful night that still haunted his dreams...

“Don’t be scared,” she whispered, “Help will be here soon, I promise.”

“I can't see you,” Blaine muttered, "But you're really beautiful, aren't you?"

"I know you are," he continued, "You're beautiful like an angel... you're an angel,"

Blaine lay bleeding and broken, starting to feel numb and oblivious to the blinding pain that he knew he should be feeling. Ordinarily this would have alarmed him, but in that moment he felt like he was in a serene dream with this unknown girl holding his hand and softly stroking his curls. He couldn’t chance a look at his savior as one of his eyes was swollen shut and he didn’t have the strength to sit up or orient his head towards her to get a good peek.

But none of this mattered to him.  He could smell the scent of vanilla that lingered in her hair. He could feel the warmth that radiated from the firm grasp of her hand. He could hear the sweetness of her comforting words.  In her presence he felt at peace.  It was as though she emitted a light that he could bask in to ward off all pain. She was his angel.

“Sing to me…” Blaine requested quietly as he closed his good eye.

“I…I-” she had begun to protest, "I can't sing,"

The small boy drifted in and out of consciousness at this point but couldn't mistake the smooth honey quality of the voice that reached his ears and filled his being.  He felt feather-light, as if he was being lifted weightlessly and ascending into the heavens, drawn up by the melody of this lone chorus of angels. 

"Take a sad song and make it better Remember to let her under your skin Then you’ll begin to make it better"

Blaine felt warm tears fall on his face which were hastily brushed away by the girl. The last thing he remembered was the faint sound of sirens as the kind stranger pressed her lips to his temple.

Blaine recognizes the voice of the girl who held him and waited for the ambulance to arrive after Sadie Hawkins. For years she was a faceless voice that he thought of as his guardian angel.
