I tagged along on a Spotlight shop yesterday with Daughter. I got bead glue, been looking for some for the longest time so was happy to finally find some. But the coolest thing was that all the scissors were on sale so I got new scissors. I have not bought scissors for many years. All of the scissors in my scissor draw have a dull spot and they are all cheap scissors so do not sharpen up well. I am thrilled to have new sharp scissor. The handles fit like a glove and the blades have a blade guard, so cool. I could not wait to get home and test them out, they did not disappoint. Now where to hide them so the gasket cutters and the gift wrappers cannot find them.

I've just finished making a holster for my new fabric scissors! It's lined with rabbit fur to be gentle on the blades.

(I was sewing and thought about the times people used my fabric scissors for other stuff because those were the first scissors they found.... Their families still miss them.)
