I fucking love the Hoarah Loux fight in Elden Ring, because its the exact opposite of every other similar Soulsborne boss fight

Most similar bosses will start out a little genericly named with no weapon, halfway through fight go "okay now Im locked in", and summon a big weapon, get a magical effect, their name changes from semi generic to being something like "[name], [title] of [thing]"

Meanwhile the fight starts with Godfrey, first Elden Lord, weve heard a decent amount about him, he has a powerful weapon and a magical lion on his shoulder. Then you get to his second phase and he goes "okay im locking in", gets rid of the lion and weapon, and then goes dick out to beat the shit out of you with his bare hands while his name changes to a more minor one weve heard and his titles just "Warrior"
