Yeahhhhhh no. OW hates conflict, which is how NW got away with so damn much. 

Ah well, the system itself is over now. There’s going to be a sequel starting next year, set in the golden age of piracy, but i’m giving that a miss completely. Because of NW.

@fabricatedgeek it is absolutely worth reading! It’s got period aesthetic, it’s got an oppressed mutant population, it’s got wonderful world building and settings, and the cast is a diverse hodgepodge of minorities and outcasts who come together to do incredible things. Also it’s probably the greatest heist you’ll ever read.

It could have been a scallop that wasn't kept at the right temperature and went bad or was just old. Food poisoning is usually from the food being mishandled.

Well fish in general makes me violently ill. That’s why I ordered shellfish sushi. I haven’t been able to eat fish fish in 2 years without violently regretting it shortly after. That’s why I thought it might’ve been fish passed off as scallops, esp since the texture was off

"Fucking rags and low end materials for accessories." This line is absolutely infuriating me. Looking through that armor there's steel, blackened steel, aluminum (scales), varying weights and tans of leather, cotton, linen... There's not a goddamn thing that's low end, and the ONLY way any of that would be considered "rags" is because they've been appropriately aged and battle worn. A lot of movie costuming isn't that on par. That is what real armor looks like: not cosplay, not CG. Good riddance

Not to forget that some of these people are part of the army of the Undead Flesh, so wearing bloodied rugs is kind of their thing...
