“I am sure a man of your size and capability can get over it,” the Boomer shot at Thomas, though there was a hint of amusement to his tone, and it was clear that his words weren’t meant to be taken seriously.
“For the right price, anything’s possible.”

“Which is the problem with some people right now,” Jane countered, perhaps a little more harshly than she meant. There was a beat of silence, in which a mix of guilt and frustration crossed her face, before she let out a sigh.
“Sorry. I didn’t mean to snap like that.”
“Find, kill. You get the idea.”
[Prompt]
“Yeah, I get it,” she confirmed, nodding her head in agreement. Though it did little to relax the concerned furrow of her brow towards the man. “But just… how do you plan on doing that? Last anyone’s heard, the coward’s holed himself up with a dozen or more idiots paid to keep anyone from pissing near the building let alone getting inside.”
Clearly, the situation had the Minuteman frustrated. Whether it was personal or business, that wasn’t clear, but it obviously bothered her. With a huff, Jane raked a hand through her hair, looking him over.
“Nothing against you – I’m sure you’re capable – but you’re only one man. I don’t want to send someone off to something like that on their own. Especially when it spells near certain death.”
