🐀 Jolie coquine 🐀 🎼: Caravan Palace - Jolie coquine Part 1/2 Extremely happy that @nadegedauvergne & @fabriceminel invited me to take part to their first street collaboration. You may know that Nadège's street work is based on her reinterpretation of classic paintings with pasteups at human scale. Here they have reinterpretated "Ponocrates / The Woman and the pig" a canvas painted by the Belgian artist Félicien Rops in 1878 showing a blindfolded "cocotte" (a prostitute) guided by a pig. But the pig has been replaced with a rat which is actually part of @fabriceminel's plastic work - making taxidermy and painting on rats (then taking pictures to realise pasteups). Funny reinterpretation and very cool moment with them! 😁Particularly when a woman passed by with this dog. Funny street scene!
