2/2 this fricking movie features all my favorite songs, tons of glam rock and hard rock references, fighting the man, fighting bigots, tom cruise in assless chaps and eyeliner and "rock will never die" attitude. it's awesome, but you can't take it too serious. just enjoy the rock n roll and you're gonna have a great time. wATCH IT
just in case anyone else hasn’t seen this movie either, i’m publishing this!!! after i answered that message yesterday it got quite a few notes for being just an ask. it was basically ppl either telling me not to watch or it that it’s fucking great omg. BUT OK. b/c i’m a woman of science or something and i’ll watch it with an open mind and i won’t take it seriously or anything and come to my own conclusion!! but doesn’t it have russell brand he’s p hot ??i know slash and nikki said it was crap, but other people like lita and dee snider like it so ?? i’ll give it a chance and watch it probably on thursday or something since i’m done with school after tomorrow. 1/2 yes hello i'm not that anon from before but i just wanted to let you know that i absolutely LOVED rock of ages. maybe because i'm obsessed with my romantic vision of LA in the 80s - with bars and glam rockers and rockstars and stuff - which is probably actually as far from reality as possible. i think slash tweeted once that rock of ages is awful, but you know, he lived where and when the action of the movie happens, so i guess he knows better. but i loved it.
