Prince Harry has a beard and it’s everything I could have hoped for
My cousin thinks that David looks awful with beard and I tell him that he's wrong because he looks better now than years ago. David looks more manly with scruff, idk why but I really like it, he's just rawrrr. I want to know why you like his face lawn so I can shut up my cousin, he doens't understand how a girl can find attractive an older man apparently.
Well if he thinks David doesn’t look good with a beard that’s his loss opinion.
BUT if he thinks that no one thinks he’s attractive with a beard then boy is he wrong.
So why do I love this man’s face lawn? I love most face lawns. My version of that song from Annie would be “a man’s never fully dressed without a beard”. Not everyone likes the hair, and that’s totally cool, but here are some of the reasons why I think I prefer it.
1. It makes a man look like a man. The ability to grow a nice even face lawn is a very “manly” trait. I’m not saying that all men have to subscribe to this in order to “be a man,” but my personal taste in men is of the lumberjack variety. If you showed me pictures of the same man clean shaven and with scruff/a beard I can guarantee you at least 8/10 I will find the version with a face lawn more attractive. I just do. *note: I’m meaning this in the most traditional gender stereotypical way. You don’t need a beard to be a man. You don’t need to be able to grow one to be a man. The only thing you need to do to be a man is to identify as one (and also adhere to that song from Mulan, because duh).
2. It feels nice. Have you ever made out with a scruffy man? Some people complain that it scratches your face and is irritating, but I love it. A smooth face just feels delicate. At least let me feel some stubble. AND HAVE YOU EVER RUFFLED A LUSCIOUS FACE LAWN. It’s great.
3. When groomed properly, they are classy and dignified as fuck. Not all face lawns are equal. You can’t just grow one and expect it to come out perfectly (unless you are one of the blessed few). Face lawns, like most lawns, need maintenance. They need love and care. They need grooming. And when they’re taken care of, well, it shows. It also says something about the man. He’s taken the time and patience to grow a nice lawn on his face, AND goes the extra step to maintain it. A good beard is the closest a man will ever get to birthing a child. Take care of your face lawn babies, boys.
And now for why girls find older men attractive. The general idea behind it, I think, is that an older man has his shit together. Notice I said general idea, because as I have learned (one too many times), just because a man, or anyone for that matter, has more years on you does not mean they have their shit in order. But subconsciously I think that’s the idea. I mean, have you SEEN teenage/20somethingyearolds???
