Why do I always see a person referring to a group of women or girls as "females"? Did they get downgraded to less than human and you must call them "females"? So annoying to me.

Getting real tired of the shit all over my Facebook degrading Caitlyn Jenner. I'm not even talking about the "this is true American bravery!!!" nonsense. I was mad at that before and I'm still bitter about it but this new stuff makes me freshly MORE mad. You are allowed to desire to read or watch news that is about topics that you deem important. Fine. Maybe you think they should have been reporting on children starving somewhere or people being killed in hate crimes or an invention that will filter drinking water that's really cheap and efficient and will save a lot of lives. Those are great stories. Important stories even. But they do not, DO NOT, make Caitlyn Jenner "some dude who decided to become a woman." She is a woman. Fucking respect that. If you were thinking "okay this has been reported on for a while. There are other things going on in the world. She had her time." then I probably wouldn't find all of this infuriating, or at the very least less infuriating. But for the love of God, at least complain in a respectful manner.
