Spring is in the air in my studio. Flower pots! Face Flower pots. Started with a custom order of Mr. PotHead in Dec and continues with first picture of Mrs.PotHead hopefully to be home with her hubby in a few weeks to be planted. Large ones are 7" tall and 10"wide small air plant pots are 2-4" tall 2-3.5" wide. I have been trying out Terra Cotta from Leguna amazing and creamy pretty close to Great Lakes Clay, reclaiming clay as I go. Try to make a Terra Cotta mess only once so often. It fires to a lower temperature plus the red color goes everywhere. So I have to clean studio before and after use not to cross-contaminate Terra Cotta low fire with my mid-range Bmix ^5 white clay. Would not be pretty.
