Do you know any kind of plants that could help with a cold? I’m going camping and I’ve been surrounded by lemon essential mist all morning and lavender all night but I still have a cold. Would something like mint help?
GARLIC
all the garlic. Seriously. The more raw it is the better, so raw in a salad dressing or even just in like a spoonful of honey (honestly not that bad) is the best. At least twice a day. It has the fantastic ability to spread so well and so thoroughly throughout your body that it will be literally coming out of your pours in a very active and anti-viral form. So you’ll probably smell like garlic for a day or so after you’ve stopped taking it as much. Plus it’s super not dangerous or toxic at all and has no known risk of over doing it.
On top of anti-viral garlic, you can do immune boosting things like echinacea tincture, or elderberry syrup/tincture/tea.
and to help with th symptoms of a head-cold, my favorite is minced ginger root, a pinch of cinnamon, juice of like half a lemon and raw honey to taste. Very warming and gets the circulation going so the medicine of the other herbs can get to where they need to go in your body.
I also have a gunk-clearing facial steam that I love here: https://therestlesswitch.tumblr.com/post/162455528940/gunk-clearing-facial-steam
