We always get excited when we see our students make beautiful formulations in their coursework! Our tutor Priscilla was recently grading the facial masque formulation coursework by our student Stacey @purelather when she fell in love with this beauty. . In this photo you can see that Stacey has created an anhydrous base with butters and oils such as marula oil, cucumber seed oil and jojoba. She then blended in superfoods such as maqui berry powder, which is not only high in antioxidants, polyphenols and anthocyanins, but also potentially offers inflammatory properties for the skin. . If you’ve never made or used an anhydrous masque before, we can definitely recommend it! They glide onto the skin and leave your face feeling beautifully clean and moisturised. . And as if that wasn’t enough, the maqui berry powder also gives the facial masque this beautiful lilac colour! Thank you to Stacey @purelather for letting us showcase her gorgeous formulation. .
