Social Thinking thru Social Cues.
My experience was fun and very insightful. At first I was not able to understand what activity was going to happen. Then when they asked us to watch the video and let us answer specific questions, that time I was able to grasp what really was happening.
They provided different and very interesting videos; there were clips that we were laughing at and even sharing the same thoughts on what the video was really all about.
We were given the short video about the movie "Inside Out," which is all about emotions and a family that was supposed to eat peacefully, but negative emotions were building up, and it made me think that sometimes we people tend to be the "Riley" from the movie; it's just that there are times we don't consciously think that we are doing it. But it's fine to feel such emotion, and you'll reflect and grow from it eventually.
Overall, the first facilitation was fun, and it was nice that I was able to share ideas with my group that time and laugh about things.
