63. Facing Monsters (2021)
I was attracted by the jaw-dropping cinematography, and I stayed for a well-told story of a man who is just wired...differently, from most other people. Suffice it to say, that this documentary did not come out the way everyone thought it would going in. That's not necessarily good for Kerby Brown, but the movie itself is better for it.

Blame and silence…
I do not find lack of conversation confronting when with another, and am quite happy to share silence with a friend – but silence at a distance, lack of reciprocal communication – especially if it is allied with some form of falling-out or blame – turns me to petrified stone.
It is terribly hard for me to cope at such times – which is why I am trying to face up to it.

Sometimes you will face monsters along the way, and sometimes you will win
And both parts of that are vitally important to remember. Because it would be a terrible injustice to promise that everything will always be all right, but it would be every bit as terrible to believe that nothing ever will.
And that is all for now. Just a small reminder in case there are others out there having trouble remembering that.
