Listen to the Song: LINK
Song lyrics in comics make me cringe usually BUT the cultural significance and metaphor for the character outweighed the cons for me. Bird is called Colibri Estrella. In english; Chimborazo Hummingbird or Ecuadorian Hillstar. It's endangered.

Some context I would like to expand on since the story hasnt made it quite clear Yet but I find important; Kana is latina. Kids of color at the foster are a very small minority (we will learn more about this next chapter). There being no kids of color at the door is on purpose. They are specifically avoiding looking at one of their own getting targeted out of fear and understanding. This is a topic that will be very reoccurring for plot related reasons but like, at least in this scene I wanted it to feel like a person of color was the one being reprimanded and used as a spectacle in front of a bunch of white kids (not the kids' fault! but u know.) The fact that its white kids peeking into the situation so the kid of color has no privacy.
