Ash and Leo (and Chad!) is just not a dynamic I think people expect but they do interact and I think about it from time to time. Ash I love you so much, never change.

I've had some small character animatics done for a while that I was planning to compile into 1 video… However, I've been going so slow at it cus the size of the final video intimidates me.

I was recommended to post them individually to places to help motivate me to make more. So I'll be sharing them here too! Expect more in the near future.

Some context I would like to expand on since the story hasnt made it quite clear Yet but I find important; Kana is latina. Kids of color at the foster are a very small minority (we will learn more about this next chapter). There being no kids of color at the door is on purpose. They are specifically avoiding looking at one of their own getting targeted out of fear and understanding. This is a topic that will be very reoccurring for plot related reasons but like, at least in this scene I wanted it to feel like a person of color was the one being reprimanded and used as a spectacle in front of a bunch of white kids (not the kids' fault! but u know.) The fact that its white kids peeking into the situation so the kid of color has no privacy.

With OCD I always think my panic attacks are something else, believing my throat is closing up for reals and it makes the attack worse. I end up doing reasurances to see if its true or not like touching and poking at it. It only becomes obvious in retrospect. She's also in a closed space, and like the intrusive thought flashback indicates, she also partially believes she's getting crushed when she's not.
