It's Friday, I Haven't Updated in a While, So Here's an OC Fact for You:

When we first created Rhuben Jackson, out of the Jacksons we described her as the "cold one." More specofically, she used to be like Riley at first. More outspoken with her words.

Angst for angst's sake at the time.

Now, and I aim to show this in fics more, it's subtle. In her eyes. In her words.

Rhuben is more calculated with it. Going more quiet until she speaks up. Following the idea of "If you want to cause hurt, I can make you hurt."

To add, while Riley will blurt out the first thing that comes to mind when she thinks about you (especially if she doesn't like you), what Rhuben thinks will be 100x worse as she has more time to think about it. Again, something we want to show more of in fics.

Friday Fact: WIP Dreaming of Electric Sheep

The song “Another Chance” by My Brightest Diamond is the song that plays in my head when I think about Breech and Doppelganger finally being able to make love in the book. When their old connection is reignited and a new one is formed from everything they’ve been through. It’s noir sounding and a little heartbreaking but so sexy and slow. It’s perfect. Sweet girls. Too bad it takes practically the entire book for them to get there.
