wow wow i just can't wait to read the next ones omg why does it have to be released so late???? i'm so glad to finally be in this fandom! but i'm super scared of going through the tag and follow the many blogs about these books, since i have only read the first one... i don't wanna be spoiled yknow :(
My theories
1. So Jude has this power to basically harm other people when he is hurt in order to heal himself, right? So he kind of takes other people’s life force. So my theory is that he is actually the one who killed Rachel and Claire. He was hurt and took their life force to heal himself (hence the re-grown hands).
2. Connected to the last one, Jude also killed everyone who died in the collapse at the end of Evolution. He couldn’t kill Mara, Jamie, or Stella because they have powers. Which means that there is no way Noah is really dead.
3. Noah can also see the future. This one I thought was pretty obvious. With Stella’s broken wrist happening after Noah saw the vision, and with his first vision of Mara. When he first saw her he said that she said, “get then out.” which is exactly what she said at the end of Evolution to Noah. It seems like too big of a coincidence.
4.Also Noah can only see through the eyes of people with powers. And that’s why he saw saw Joseph. Because he was seeing it through Jude. Joseph does not have powers.
5. This is kind of my overarching theory for the whole series. You know that fictionalizing-your-issues thing Mara told Daniel she had to do? I think that is what is actually happening. That this is some girl with schizophrenia or something else that is writing a novel about her “issues”. That’s why she is using another name (Mara).
