{”My Mama said ‘if someone’s gonna meet a prince, it’s you!’}
Meet the Hellqvists ♡ A little guide to get to know the people who have Sofia’s back.
“And she still means the world to me. Just so you know, so be careful when you hold my girl. Time changes everything, Life must go on. And I'm not gonna stand in your way. But I loved her first and I held her first and a place in my heart will always be hers. From the first breath she breathed, when she first smiled at me. And I prayed that she'd find you someday. But it still hard to give her away.” - I loved her first [x]
Sofia is the second daughter of Marie and Erik Hellqvist. Her mother is swedish and her father danish. Marie is the daughter of Britt Rotman (who also attended the wedding of her granddaughter) and the late Janne Herbert Ribbe Rotman. She, born in 1937, seems to be the only, still living, grandparent of Sofia. Princess Sofia itself has been born on the 6 December 1984 at the Danderyd Hospital and moved later to Älvdalen with her family. She’s gotten 2 sisters, a younger and elder one. Lina is the firstborn of Marie and Erik. She lives in Stockholm and works for Project Playground. The family announced Sofia’s birth with a newspaper advertisement, which said that Lina’s gotten a little sister. About 3 1/2 years later the Hellqvists welcomed the youngest member of the family, Sara. She studied at the University of Stockholm and got her degree in psychology and criminology back in 2012 and (started or plans to start) her Master/Ph.D in criminology. Sofia’s got a strong, loving and close family behind her. | (x)
