While Trump and his comrades continue their assault on the media, it is helpful to remember the warning of philosopher, George Santayana, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." It is not inevitable that history repeat itself, but if we do not heed history's cries, we may soon find ourselves in an situation previously unimaginable in this country.
