Note the Fada Radio ad at the far left of the image.  Just about the most stylish table radios imaginable...FADA was the initials of Frank A. D’Andrea, the Bronx native who rode the wave of radio popularity in the early-to-mid twentieth century; Fada radios are highly prized collectors items now.  The company still exists as Andrea Electronics.
