Thank you for your empathy, I appreciate it. That anxiety/depression team-up especially sucks because they feed into each other and make such conflicting feelings, I know what you mean.

Thank you, it seems like a lot of people here know how it feels from personal experience and that makes me a bit sad, but it’s also nice to talk to people that have been through the same.

Thanks, Emily, it’s nice to be missed. It does help somewhat to at least be honest with some people for a change (can’t really talk to my parents about this, for example). Thank you for being so sweet and supportive.

This is SO well done. I read an article once about how you can do exactly this when you have a bad anxiety flare-up—like say you’re on the verge of a panic attack.

Thank you, @fadedelegance! Indeed, I had read something like that a long while ago, probably here on Tumblr. That’s partially what inspired me with this fic (as well as watching the clouds while soaking up the warm spring sun a few days ago.)

I was tagged by @fadedelegance to do the BATB tag, but since I already answered it I thought I’d just answer the new question.

- Which character in BATB 2017 do you feel most related to? As I mentioned in one of my posts I am, to put it frankly, a victim of abuse. My dad abuses me emotionally and has been doing so for almost as long as I can remember. I feel like he makes me into a worse person when I am around him, which is why I try my hardest to be as kind as I can be with other people (I don’t think it’s going too well but whatever) and that is why I relate to Adam. In the remake they added that storyline to broaden his character and, truthfully, it means so much to me it is indescribable. I also think I can be selfish, arrogant, think highly of myself and my looks, while I at the same time am very nurturing and honest. The one thing I do not have in common with him is my humour. My sense of humour is much more out there and not as dry as his is
