I usually do this fading effect because i wanted to put all of the scenes that i want to have in a gif and also this also save your gif limit. As you see here, i'm using three completely different scenes. and how i did it, is copy paste manually lol OTL.

anyway, for fading effect, It's really simple on how to do this and can be done by two ways. one of it by tweening effect. (i just use the second and third scene for you able to see clearly)
For tweening effect, wee use these two scenes that you want to fade into which is something like this.
then you just click on the picture that you want to fade in and click tweening effect which you can found under the frames.
just click on it and click okay and you have the fading tweening effect :)which is something like this.
you may adjust the frame that you want to make, i usually do 2-3 (because when come to gif, i usually set to 21 frames as the max)
but the problem using this effect is that it only used on still image ^^; which mean your gif won't move except fading. So below here, i have these two same gif using fading effect but there's difference between these two gif. i'm pretty sure you will see the difference :)
where the first gif is like it froze there for a second when fading then it move and as for the second one is the two animation itself blend in together and we want that second one to be achieve instead of the first one.
but on the good side of this tweening is that you can used it on font for still image and also fonts too, but i realized that using font on gif by tweening are quite pain in the ass too so- in order to fix that , we gonna do it manually instead.
If you noticed that using tweening effect, you will see that they play around with opacity for every each of the frame and we 're going to apply that manually From the scene that you want to start fade in to.BUT FIRST , DONT FORGOT TO DELETE THE TWEENING EFFECT FIRST LOL. i realized that i haven't delete that, wait never mind i actually did manually on that screencap. nevermind. In my case it's frame 4 in animation. click on the layer of that scene, it's layer 20 in my case (look below to see how it's like)
click on the opacity and lower it down a bit let's say around 80-70% , and OH! make sure you save at least 2-3 layers before the next scene (look below for the details) so that it can blend in nicely. and for the next frame, unhide the next layer and and hide the layer on the next scene. you will see on the screencap.it's hard for me to explain because i usually do gif manually on cs2 OTL not sure how it actually work on the newest cs tho-mumblesmumbles
but i hope you guys will get the idea T___T and yeah, apply it and lower it down more (like for the second frame 50%-40% and next one will be 20-10% and then immediately change to the next scene)and apply it to the other scene that you want to blend it in and the finale, will be like this
and you can also do the same for the font as well. depend where you want it to be appear or disappear, just go to the frame that you want to do and play opacity from there. apply the same thing and will be something like this.
as for the text if you want it to be appear on the middle , you have to hide the text layer first on the first frame. or else you have to manually hide it on the other frames (unless if you do it on first hand, but i usually do the text last bit so it's pain in the ass XD) but then if you want to hide the text on certain amount of frame , just select on the frames by shift+click it and hide the layer XD that's all :)
